Stage Management

My Fair Lady saw Ashley, who had previously worked as stage crew, take up the stage manager position. During production week I joined on as the Deputy Stage Manager, taking on stage right duties, directing the crew members who were also the stage crew whilst Ashley took on stage left at the SM desk. During the week I would assist the production manager with set improvements, assist with both stage, lx and sound during get in, repair a chaise longue, and for the last two performances take on the Stage manager role.

This experience has encouraged me to continue taking on a DSM or ASM role in future productions, and also look into the set design and construction for the society.
