In 2024 the Priory Centre closed for refurbishment and VAMPS of St Neots were forced to find another venue to continue performing shows. The largest church in St Neots asked us if we’d like to perform in the church, and we chose Joseph to be the first of two shows, with a third in the pipeline. I was asked by 1One0 if I’d like to do lighting for this show as their usual LX, Dan Cooper, was originally going to be away.

Not being available to attend many rehearsals due to a busy workload elsewhere, I ended up having to pre-programme the entire show watching a rehearsal video of the run and using the inbuilt EOS visualiser that had been built by 1One0. The whole show was pre-programmed two days before the in.
Once we were in, having built a climbing tower truss with over 30 moving heads amongst other fixtures, the rig was close to the vis rig and there were minimal palette changes needed. Ever the perfectionist I spent most of the tech and dress rehearsal tweaking, and even after the first show I made some tiny edits until I had a product I was happy with.
