Festival Crew

Back in 2021, I joined the team putting together a festival in our hometown of St Neots, in a technical role. However it wasn’t until 2023 that the festival finally kicked off and whilst I wasn’t involved in the planning and pre-production on this occasion, I was heavily involved across the 4 days from setup to packdown. My role for the two-day festival was support tech on the second stage, assisting both the stage manager and the hired in event technicians throughout the day, although my role quickly morphed into general tech running between different stages/zones across the entire site to assist with the technical needs of different acts, rigging/derigging sound and lighting systems, and occasionally mixing in the smaller zones.
